1. Direct Contact Information
OrangeCalc is an independent project, developed and maintained solely by Debjeet Bhowmik in his free time on weekends. Every error report, technical question, and suggestion is reviewed and handled directly by him.
Because this is a weekend project, there's no formal Service Level Agreement (SLA) or guaranteed turnaround time. Every message gets read, and verified calculation errors, software defects, and tool requests get addressed as quickly as the weekend schedule allows.

Calculation Errors & Bug Reports
If you notice a mathematical discrepancy, boundary issue, or display glitch in any calculator:
- Subject:
[OrangeCalc - Bug / Calculation Error] [Calculator Name] - Details to include: The exact inputs entered, the output produced, your expected result, and a citation of the relevant trade code (e.g., IRC, ASTM, SAE), manufacturer datasheet, or textbook formula.
- Resolution: Once verified, the underlying formula is recalibrated, a regression test is added to prevent it from recurring, and the updated tool ships.
Calculator Audits & Calibration Suggestions
If you're a practitioner, engineer, contractor, or researcher and want to audit an existing calculator or suggest real-world trade presets:
- Subject:
[OrangeCalc - Math Audit] [Calculator Name] - Details to include: Proposed formula refinements, safety margins, nominal material dimensions, or specific field conditions the model should account for.
New Calculator Requests
If you need a calculation tool for a specific trade, technical, or mathematical workflow:
- Subject:
